My Journey to Sanur, Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia

It’s been almost a month since I stayed at a hostel near Kuta. It was a great experience—I made some new friends and played pool together. However, I decided to move to Sanur, Denpasar, Bali. Instead of renting a hotel room or staying at another hostel, I chose to rent a private room.

After some searching, I found a lovely place near Batur Sari Street, specifically at Jalan Batur Sari No. 48C. The place was fully furnished, with cable TV, internet, AC, a bathroom with a shower, and even a small kitchen area where I could cook my own meals. It was perfect because cooking helped me save some money.

The location was also ideal, being close to the beach, so I could go whenever I wanted. The owner, Pak Nyoman, was incredibly kind. He even let me use his bike for free for almost three months. Thank you, Pak Nyoman, for your kindness—it really helped me a lot.

As a budget traveler, experiencing such kindness from someone like Pak Nyoman is unforgettable. The area was also convenient, with many food vendors and convenience stores nearby. I could easily walk to get food or snacks.

I stayed there for almost three months, and thanks to Pak Nyoman’s bike, I was able to explore Sanur extensively. I even rode the bike to Renon, near Sanur. Whether I was heading to the beach, doing laundry, finding food, or just exploring, Pak Nyoman’s bike was always with me.

So, fellow travelers, if you ever find yourself in Sanur, Bali, Indonesia, and need a room, don’t hesitate—this place is great. Pak Nyoman also rents the rooms weekly.
