Exploring Jalan Merdeka and Braga Street in Bandung
During my vacation in Bandung, I decided to visit the famous Jalan Merdeka, where the historic Asian-African Conference once took place. Not only known for its historical buildings, but this area is also renowned for its vibrant nightlife.
I opted for a motorbike taxi to reach Jalan Merdeka, arriving in the late afternoon. I took a leisurely walk, capturing photos and recording videos for my YouTube channel. The area comes alive in the late afternoon, attracting crowds and offering a lively atmosphere.
Numerous street musicians entertained the visitors, while vendors sold toys for children and various goods, creating a vibrant scene. Local residents from Bandung and families spent quality time in this bustling area.
After walking for a while, I felt a bit thirsty. I searched for a convenience store to buy a cold bottle of mineral water, and there were plenty of park benches around. I took a short break, enjoying the cool weather before continuing my stroll.
The delightful cold weather of Bandung made walking enjoyable, especially as I moved towards Braga Street as the evening approached. Finally reaching Braga Street, I was amazed—it felt like I was transported to a different place outside of Indonesia. The ambiance was distinctly different from other parts of Bandung.
Braga Street is famous for its cafes and nightclubs, making it a must-visit destination in Bandung. If you find yourself in Bandung, exploring Braga Street is an experience you wouldn't want to miss.
